Why This Site Exists
I've spent 26 years in the window and door industry. I've seen good contractors, bad contractors, and everything in between. I've watched homeowners sign contracts they didn't understand for products that were wrong for their homes.
This site is my attempt to fix that — one article, one prompt, one honest conversation at a time.
I don't sell windows. I don't work for a manufacturer. I don't have a referral deal with any contractor. The only thing I have is knowledge, and I'm giving it away.
What I Believe
- Knowledge should be free — especially when it helps people make informed decisions about major purchases.
- Honesty beats sales — if a product isn't right for your situation, I'll tell you. Not everyone does.
- You can learn this — windows and doors aren't rocket science. The industry just makes them feel that way so you'll pay someone else to figure it out.
How This Site Makes Money
It doesn't, really. There are ads and affiliate links to help cover hosting costs. If the site makes enough to pay for itself, great. If it makes more, I'll spend more time on it. If it makes nothing, it stays up anyway.
No paywalls. No email lists you have to join. No "book a free consultation" forms. Just knowledge.
